Visit the Campaign for Working Families’ free tax preparation site at Temple’s Entertainment and Community Education Center (1509 Cecil B. Moore Ave. Room 214) on Mondays from 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM and Fridays & Saturdays from 9 AM-1 PM to receive an accurate refund fast at no cost. No appointment necessary, customers are seen on a first come, first served basis.

Working Together For Change: LNPWI Interfaith Breakfast

In the spirit of partnership, LNPWI is inviting representatives from faith-based institutions to attend our LNPWI Interfaith Breakfast, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 27th on Temple University’s main campus in Shusterman Hall, (1838 North Park Avenue). The goal of this event, is to share information about resources in the North Philadelphia community, discuss the employment needs of the community, and encourage dialogue around how faith-based institutions in North Philadelphia can play a role in addressing poverty and unemployment. Your role in the community is critical to helping us reach communities in need. Through collaboration with faith-based leaders, LNPWI hopes to further our mission of providing opportunities for youth and adult employment and workforce development.

Temple University’s Community Hiring Initiative will host its 13th annual Neighborhood Job Fair, the LARGEST citywide job fair in Philadelphia! Join thousands of adult job seekers, recent college graduates, U.S. veterans, and trade-skill professionals on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 9 AM to 1 PM at the STAR Complex (1816 North 15th Street). Many companies will be attending such as SEPTA, Temple University Hospital, Wells Fargo, Independence Blue Cross, PECO Energy and many more!
