Due to the pandemic, many things have been adjusted at PASCEP, including how courses are delivered. During the PASCEP 40th Anniversary in August 2019, we intended to move PASCEP into the 21st Century through online courses. To help participants continue to learn important information and build their academic skills, PASCEP has now gone virtual!
There are a wide variety of courses available online during this pandemic ranging from academic enhancement, workforce preparation, learning Yoruba, and even learning how to sew. In addition to the courses already mentioned, there are also courses that teach participants the process of owning real estate, building entrepreneurship skills, Management versus Leadership, the Art of Self Care and exploring music’s significance in society through Message in our Music. PASCEP will host platforms for effective dialogue around culture, race and racism, and social health disparities via Zoom and Canvas courses. PASCEP is open to new and exciting courses for the community and learning to teach virtual classes is available upon request to Director Ulicia Lawrence-Oladeinde. Everyone at PASCEP invites you to discover or return to PASCEP and explore the joy of learning virtually. Visit noncredit.temple.edu/pascep after January 1 to view the new class schedule and courses offered for Spring 2021. Send questions to pascep@temple.edu or leave a message at 215-204-1993
